Actually James, some exciting news for you. They did make City of Ember into a movie, In 2008 Sarosie Ronan was in it! They didn't make a second because it didn't do too well grossing wise. But it was pretty good, definitely doesn't compare to the book though! Anyways, don't know if you'll see this but I thought you'd like to know.

They’ve actually started to change the curriculums at schools (at least here in utah) most the stuff you guys said is in school but just in certain classes, changing a tire (take auto), checks and banking ( take financial literacy) and there are other classes for professional type stuff like letters, emails etc.., but that’s a couple examples but I do 100% agree, school needs more classes for after high school and college. There was no class for knowing how to pay taxes
