I used to drive back and forth to and from my grandparents 250miles and had been using the same stop since I was a kid so I was very comfortable there and one night my mom was driving and I went to smoke weed while the kids went to pee and stretch and I went behind the bathrooms and there was a weird guy there and he got scared and was just like " why r u back here? " I said checking. He was irritated and then threatened me, well this chick already had seen him creeping and she lived up the road and she came back with a gun and so this guys just walking slowly towards me talking about weird shit speaking tongues and this lady with a gun comes up screaming at him and told us what happened and she held him at gunpoint and said he was in the women's bathroom and she caught him positioning himself in blindspots and shit and the nearest cop was not near so she took it into her own hands lol never treated stops like playgrounds or rest areas again and I carry a gun on me and we secure the area before going in, making sure no vehicles are hiding at night in a snatching position. We don't fuck around anymore my moms got her gun ready and I got mine and we go one at a time and so the doors always got a gun ready and we yell CLEAR when we go in and nobody is inside and if anyone comes in after us we listen for yells and are ready to storm in or cut off exits and well u know basic shit but we stay safe cause we have family in the fbi and law enforcement and we hear fucked up shit nobody hears on the news nobody realizes the hundreds of thousands of victims and how human trafficking works and how in the open a snatching can be and quick but I let my guard down and now I don't smoke weed cause I rather have a gun then weed lol unless we have the entire family going then I can chill and let my family be the armed ones and I can get stoned lol and this guy with a gun trying to join my mom on a hike and telling my mom she's gorgeous and shit and started walking with us, we pretended our group was behind us and we ran off trail and we were out there past dark, phone died as soon as we got back to the car and without a light weda been fucked and so my hippy ass went right down and got training and ccw and a glock and now I carry a gun lmao 🤣 fucking creeps have guns i need one out there too..

Slightly agree. I think most people are sick of comedians going on each others podcasts. It's much better when only one person is trying to be funny.

More regular interesting folks on the show theo. These episodes are pretty dope

Trucker wisdom, never trust a puddle at a truck stop period. honestly though truck stops are for the most part safe good places to Park and rest as long as you can find a spot. Most companies in other drivers would tell you truck stops to avoid because of crime rates i and solicitation. For the most part I've never really seen anything to crazy out there but only just got back in it last year. It is crazy though how well you can hide behind a fairing which makes it all the more scary in my opinion for female drivers walking to and from their trucks at night. I'm 6 ft tall 400 lb and can completely hide simply by stepping behind a firing. Best thing truckers can do is keep their head up eyes open and pay attention.

@Jack Baker Most likely because truckers don't exactly do a 9-5. There is a lot of them, but there are also more that do more than that as well. Truck driving isn't exactly a "hourly" in the normal sense of the meaning.
