Hey everyone, thanks for watching. Before I get overwhelmed with comments, I am well aware that this is in 360p. Just a brief explanation, I usually test render my videos (to check for copyright stuff) at a lower quality, so I can do the check faster. This video was blocked over 18 times, no exaggeration. It was Mann (who's in this video) that convinced me to try to dispute the claim. Being tired and really frustrated, I filled out the form without realizing that I did it for one of the low quality uploads. The claim ended up being released and well... I ain't trying my luck again, son. Nevertheless, thank you to everyone who joined the Patreon when it seemed like this would never see ALthe screens. Thank you to all the supporters here and on Twitter. Thank you to Mann, Awkwardly, Bre, Kash, Primm, Dub, Nicole, Keek, DeAngelo, GeekToons, Delhi and Tim for all being in this one. It was a lot of fun. And lastly, thank YOU for watching. Stay dope, ya'll. #LongLiveTrapSav One. - Tariq

Goofy was created to be black, That's why he was played as a dullard in his inception.

Let’s admit it…. A Goofy Movie was MADE for black kids!!! PERIODT
Let me know if you guys watch the whole video I stopped watching his videos because They are so long
33:00 I can't exercise and laugh hysterically at the same time bro; i applaud your comedic timing/delivery
Yo this movie reminds me of my akward relationship with my dad, we’re complete opposites to a point where it can be akward simply giving each other a hug. But this movie gives me hope man
1:46 - 2:11 best op ever
Eh no cap you should talk about finding nemo, that movie a classic
Bitch if you don't make a episode of static shock what the fuck is wrong with you My guy you want to make an episode of static shock we want to see it episode of static shock give your intakes and opinions about the show Static is a character that in my opinion is quite groundbreaking for animation. Because there was not a character like Virgil during that time that had his story and his themes. you don't need to be a textbook comic book nerd and you don't need to be the smartest man in the world when it comes to animation if you want to write an episode about static shock write that episode and I might become a patron

My nigga. I do not know you. You have no right to call me a “bitch.” If I don’t want to talk about Static Shock, I just don’t want to talk about Static Shock. I do not care about or have an attachment to the show, to the same effect as everyone else. I clearly directed you to a video done by someone who does. You gotta relax. This type of shit is not cool.
I love how he swears then inmideatly does an ad break.

The attention to detail regarding all the little things that made this movie so fucking great is what really sells this piece for me. Well, that and the usual S Tier editing and writing that accompanies your stuff but duuude i found myself enthusiastically nodding in agreement SO much throughout this. Good shit man.

And now I'm crying over that hug. ;_;
And extremely Goofy movie relies on Aesop amnesia and retreading, just like ralph breaks the internet.
The feature by PRIMM 🤣
the way this completely true.... its a black movie u cannot convince me otherwise
18:55 always trying to combine struggles with blacks
I don't know if your extremely goofy movie segment is extremely petty, or pretty fair
I like how 17:20 scene was inspired by the peanuts/Charlie brown.
The amount of effort you put into your videos is nothing short of immaculate; It’s not unnoticed.
Did u watch Code Lyoko, bro?
i think watercolor animation will come back someday. how will it work? it'll somehow work
I don’t care what anyone says this movie was BLACK.
This year marked 25 years of the Goofy Movie. I remember when my daycare constantly played this for the younger kids back in the real early 2000's.
LMAO Why are you always clowning on nostalgia critic 💀💀💀
How am I just now getting here to this channel. .::chefs kiss::.
This is the best video on this movie i have ever seen. Thank you. Subscribed.
This man really made me cry about the goofy movie... Stop. I buried my emotions long ago don’t make me rediscover them.
One thing that I think made A Goofy Movie special was it a close to cult following. Kinda like Nightmare Before Christmas had. It was well known enough for it not to fall into obscurity but not acknowledged enough until the generation that grew up on it had the money and resources to make it profitable. Funny story, even though by this point it was the fourth time I've seen the movie at this point it felt strange to have watched it in middle school and one of the guys points out that Roxanne had a resemblance to one of the girls in the class. Lack of dog nose aside she had the same fashion sense, similar hair, and even a beauty mark. It was one of the few times there was a unanimous "Oh my god she does." and yeah while she wasn't the prettiest girl in school, but a date with her would still be a good thing. Hell, I would've blushed if we touched hands. Yeah, my middle school self never opened up about crushes I never had the confidence, but I did notice girls.
Love this movie. If I should say one bad thing about the movie it’s the big foot scenes it’s funny but I don’t think it’s so good it’s pretty random. But when they talk in the car it’s so good.
15:25 50 minutes u said it urself I’ll be waiting for a THOROUGH breakdown
Re why the culture claimed A Goofy Movie as a Black movie, I remember seeing someone talk about how the Goof Troop characters were Black coded. The example I remember is how PJ’s mother had gold hoops, Hartman hips and her expressions, you know the kind lol
I think a big part of why it feels like a black movie is because it is written like many black sitcoms of the time. I mean, look back at Family Matters, Fresh Prince, Martin, etc. There is a common cord of something big happening that threatens status quo, them having to actually talk it out, and there feeling like real growth at the end. You didn't get that shit with Full House or Home Improvement, you got cheesy, easy to swallow "stealing a carrot is bad, I'm disappointment, but I still love you." I won't say there aren't some that deal with deeper themes, and I won't say all black sitcoms did better ( hell, go watch My Wife and Kids...how the hell did I sit through that?) but those shows HAD to have a reason to get you to watch, they HAD to prove their worth to the network, and that is the reason they had such an impact. A Goofy Movie took all the highs and lows of the best writing that black sitcoms had in their corner, and they nailed it.
How you get primm here?!

LMFAOOOO I KNEW as soon as I saw that scene, 23:21 you were going to talk about it. 😂 Like one of those weird awkward hilarious SpongeBob scenes where one of the characters looks like he's Nutting having an orgasm or something perverted or just some plain retarded shit in general. 🤣 The dichotomy between how Goofy fathers his kid vs how Pete fathers his kid says a lot. No better is it said in this scene @24:23 Pete's response at Goofy's ,"He loves me" is so simple and says a lot about his character and the way his hand comes at the camera when he says in strong dominating way, "Hey, My kid RESPECTS me." This always brought chills down my spine as a kid whenever I would see this scene and hear this line and its delivery. It's so crafted masterfully. Now as an adult it still makes me feel uncomfortable because it's obvious to what type of person Pete really is: a NARCISSISTIC PARENT. Pete might as well said to Goofy, "Sure your kid 'loves' you well I'd rather be respected and feared by my kid and he does." This simple line delivery showing the difference between the two parents' personalities is simple yet conveys to the reader what type of fathers they are to their sons. Anyway I ADORE A Goofy Movie. It was pretty much perfect in every single way. Extremely Goofy Movie, I can't really say the same. It was alright as sequels go. 🤷🏽♀️
"I've seen this movie more times than people have said my name this year" okay but literally same...
I love this movie so much we just have to listen to each others hearts
yessir Primm Hood Cinema here
Yooo primm caught me off guard
The fact you have that Atmosphere song playing in the background instantly made me like this video.
First of all, this video is SO delightful. The animation cuts just work especially well for this movie in particular. Goofy Movie was just SO fluid and energetic and grand in a way that Disney hasn't done much with since, and it makes the bouncy, expressive nature of your animations feel natural? Like something you'd expect to pop out of one of these character's notebooks or something. Second of all, watching Goofy Movie endlessly as a kid and being enamored with Roxanne ABSOLUTELY made me gay.
While I do appreciate the craft of hand-drawn animation, there are artists out there whom really can get an authentic grit from a computer- a Fox in Space is a starfox fan project that, in its current incarnation, really leaves you feeling the artist's hands on the work. I bring this up, not because I think Tariq was dissing computer art, (I reallt don't think he is) but because I agree that the "grit" of animation is valuable, and that I'm happy to argue that its not lost in new technology.
You're never doing Virgil :(
That primm cameo got me.
GODDAMN THAT TRANSITION AT 22:16 STRAIGHT FIRE
16:23 best explanation for why nostalgia for old animation a thing

Damn it's Primm he an allstar
Also... as far as goofy and max and others being coded black, they literally had black fur. Most of the other dogs had paler skin/fur tones. It wasn’t just subtext, there was visual coding too.
The fact he called Goofy and Max two dogs when they both two Cows 🤣🤣🤣
ToonrificTariq

Did you Google that or is it some kind of weird head cannon thing? Because oh boy, do I have news for you.
I really had a crush on max..thanks Disney
🧐🧐🤣🤣🤣🤣 that argument part at the intro
Primm blowing up this like the 4th other youtuber vid he cameo’d in lol He an all star
As a white guy that grew middle class, I saw Goofy and Max as the black family in a middle class neighborhood. With a fat white friend and stoner white friend. Now that could be because of my school where we only had two Black Americans in my class until like 5th or 6th grade. But I can't view these characters as anything but that. Even after I left that school to go to school where white was the minority, nothing changed. And I found out most of my friends saw the same thing. But we grew up on An extremely goofy movie. And you missed out on the greatest line in cinema history that came out of An extremely goofy movie. "Have you ever noticed that we like, always wear gloves."
Damn this video and movie got me in a good and bad depression the part that gets me in the depression mood is the segment were the biggie everyday struggle comes in got me in long lasting mood

Yooooo the way they mixed the samples up and ended up creating "Everyday Struggle" lmao genius fellas
God I really appreciate your tangent on animation being shit on film. I've always preferred it for cartoons as well as anime. It just has that grit that's oh so appealing to the eyes
I love how toonrific did the everyday struggle samples when max and goofy were in the car and then put the actual song
aint you suppose to get better audio with time ? how do you go from bad to decent to good to shit ?

The video is 360p and was recorded in a car. Try not to be so damn rude next time.
...Yeah. Pocahontas has, like, one good song and the rest of the movie, as far as my memory is concerned, doesn't exist. Goofy Movie, also the second one but I guess more so the first one, close to all of it is in my head and I hope it never goes anywhere. And I used to be enamored with... now I think about it, I was enamored with Colors of the Wind and absolutely zero else from that movie, every other moment in it is a surprise whenever I see it because it is not retained. Colors of the Wind just has some good lyrics. Goofy Movie actually has, y'know, good movie.
Ohhh, Goof Troop. Yeah, I never had public tv as a kid (I think Dad just never got around to hooking up the antenna, and I was always a books and Legos kid anyway), so maybe not having that link between it and Goof Troop is why I... kinda always liked the sequel more? :\ (Also the nightmare scene at the start of the first one always scared me a little if I'm honest)
Sudden Intermission by Blur reminding me of how fucking well-made and well-shot and well-choreographed and well-...soundtracked? and poorly-written Baby Driver is.

Baby Driver’s one of my favorite movies. It is not poorly-written.
I am EXTREMELY happy that you put Primm in the video. That dude's hilarious and very underrated

I watched this movie when I was 3 or 4 on a VHS, and despite viewing it multiple times I gotta admit I don't remember much of it. What I do remember was the school bus song was lit, and Roxanne's dad is fucking scary.
You think Goofy is like, the ultimate handyman with how much his stuff blows up and and he crashes through everything?
Did your voice change?
Is Pete divorced in the Goofy Movie?
you should do Cat's Don't Dance
My favorite moment, and what I think really cements the movie is the scene where Max DOESNT choose the 'right' option. Any other movie would have had Max choose not to go the LA. It's both a twist, and an incredible pay off for the dread that had been building since he changed it (and reinforced with the amazing hot tub scene). Also all the music in this movie is awesome, not just the songs. Anyways, you have a new subscriber now!
Congratulations, I didn't think I could love this movie any more than I already have my whole entire life but you just changed that Sir.
It's cool that they got Roxanne as a reporter.
