Peter, so I am not a computer expert and really don't like doing much editing. I'm a dirt bike rider (single-track trail riding) in SoCal so bright sunshine, desert terrain, etc. My Session is done...buying the 9 and already have the Dango mount. I want simple...any recommendations for best settings I can just roll with for ALthe postings. Thanks.

I have the Hero 8 and I’m not overly impressed as well. However, GoPro has a $349 special for the Hero9 and Kit Combo right now and with my American Express I get a $70 statement credit. That brings the kit down to $279. Still say stick with the Hero8 or too good a deal considering?

footage from you doesn't look like the promo videos from gopro, well perhaps the reason is they can afford the HIGH END COMPUTERS AND SOFTWARE to make their footage look awesome, and they probably have people that know how to edit and make the quality of the footage be better than it is

Great!! I was sold on the DJI Osmo Action from prior video I watch from you Mattie and Chris. Now here’s the question for you. DJI Osmo Action or the GoPro hero 9? I plan on video hiking, hunting, fishing, and some angles off the side of a 4x4 truck on the trails.
