Yeah I think it's because he takes a bit of an intellectual approach to comedy. Not that the others don't, it's just that you can tell he's trying to get to the objective heart of being a great comic and they are a bit more okay with letting funny just be funny. I don't think they really disagree even, they just approach their craft differently than he does so they weren't really understanding his points and kept pushing back or just changing the subject.
