The scientist were certain it was there, and lo and behold they found exactly what they were looking for. Science is complete. BTW what's a barryon?
That sound of *whistler* actually seems to me as the intro music of veritasium. Anyone else noticed?
Just imagine, being there to witness thw universe right 20 mins after the big bang and living(infinite% theoretically) afterwards. It would be gorgeous.
You are simply superbb
I didn't know I needed to know the sound of lightning on the other side of the globe.
It's not real. Don't waste your time! Even if it was. It would be useless. Don't waste your time! I said it twice.
Well it depends at what time avengers endgame releases on other parts of the universe.
I don't understand how the light is less red shifted because the hydrogen is closer to us, can someone clarify?

Hi... From JR studeos
Why not consider the processes occurring in a quantum vacuum as a source of dark matter/energy? Hoking showed the possibility of gravity influencing quantum fluctuations near black holes. Galaxy will have a gravitational effect on the surrounding space and, therefore, can affect the processes of the quantum vacuum, increasing the time each individual vacuum fluctuations, which in turn can cause a gravitational anomaly, which apparently is the cause of the dark matter halo around galaxies, and can be the cause of other as yet unexplained phenomena On this subject, recently published an article where everything is described in pretty simple language. Journal "Internauka" No. 1 (177) part 2, 2021, p. 45._
Then we also have that the big bang still seems to be accelerating, which is inexplicable, with shrinking atoms it is that if something shrinks it also goes faster, then our clock will run faster, due to the reduction in scale and the shrinkage also goes faster. Then we have redshift bands, which cannot be explained just like that with the big bang, with shrinking atoms, you can think that structures in the atoms evolve and influence the shrinkage, those are structures that we cannot yet observe, but their influence via the redshift bands.
When galaxies move away from us you get a redshift, when our atoms shrink you get redshift, how do they know that the big bang theory is the right theory, there are so many problems with the big bang theory, like double distance double redshift, that does not seem to be compatible with the big bang theory because of the following if we take the light from a galaxy with 10% redshift, that just goes into the telescope at the speed of light and if we let that light shine through to another galaxy with 10% redshift, then when it comes here we first have 90 of the original 100 waves per unit of time, then when it comes to the next system, 81 of the 90 waves remain, if we are here from Earth as well. sending a beam of light, 90 of the 100 waves remain and that double distance does not add up to a double redshift. then we have the big bang remnants that are 400,000 years old as we can now observe them and that covers the entire starry sky 13.4 billion light years away, of course that is not possible, the big bang remnants were 335,000 light years away when that radiation was that we can now observe, that is because of the speed of 97.5% of the speed of light and it took that light forty times as long, because the source that emitted the radiation had such a high speed and the speed of light is not distance measure, but a time that the light has passed it, you can calculate that it is very far away now, but we cannot see that far, we can only see 3.5 billion light years away and the most visible objects are the galaxies that have 50% redshift and are a little less than 3.5 billion light years away. so in other words, the perspective in space is slightly different than we are used to. If we then take the photo of the space telescope Hubble with the ultra deep field photo and there is no strange perspective to be seen and no letter is dirty as if there were no strange perspective, that would not be compatible with the big bang theory. Now if we take the space of galaxies with 50% redshift, where the big bang is halfway, then there should be 8 times as much matter, we have never heard of that as if it is not there, it is not. to be reconciled with the big bang theory. So how can the big bang theory still have a right to exist. When the Belgian priest came up with the big bang theory a hundred years ago, what was the evidence that it was not shrinking atoms that caused the redshift?

12:11 so in a sense you didn't get what you WANTED but your HAPPY ANYWAY , BECAUSE YOU got what you were expecting. That ; to me...sounds very much LIKE FAITH. I love your videos P.s. I say you didnt get what you wanted because you stated that would be better if the measured result of any scientific study was 'different' than expected.

Big bang has been debunked so many times and people still cling to it like crazy🤣 it's like watching idiots argue that there aren't peanuts in peanut butter
Lumalee
3 ditë më parë
It hasnt been debunked, its been PROVED. You think some magic man created the universe? Yeah that seems likely
Just a FYI... We didn't get to where we are at now from the "big bang" rocks blowing up, more and more scientists are believing in a creator...
Lumalee
3 ditë më parë
Lol no, a magic man did not make the universe, and scientists know this because they have scientifically proven the big banh

Scientists are so incredibly smart and yet there are so many secrets still left to be found...we know so little about some things ......yet normal everyday people now know stuff that only 1-2 people knew just 50-100 years ago
5%, that's how much of this video I understood.
In theory, positioning itself on the edge of the event horizon, due to the attraction the light moves concentrically, so you can see your neck looking forward. By the same principle, a pulse of light can be measured without bounce.
Ok I seen your video, it’s cool to see but , you talk about the Big Bang a lot . Here’s a good question I would like for you or anyone to explain. If light travels so fast and and the universe is expanding at the same speed to a point where every minute a star or galaxy’s is going out of are Site How can anyone know where the middle is and how much of the universe is gone to the point where can never see it again... and if it’s gone how would we ever know it was there in the first place...?????
Lumalee

The universe does not expand at the speed of light.

How can a volume of space with only 1 - 10 baryons per cubic meter have a temperature of 100,000 - 10,000,000 K? Those are some pretty energetic baryons! A cubic meter of space with no baryonic particles at all has no temperature (or just the temperature of the CMB), so cubic meters of intergalactic space with such huge temperatures seem counterintuitive.
he says @1.40 as unstable and then says @2.42 as stable... which one is correct 🤔🤔
I wonder how much of the universe’s mass is located inside or is accounted for by black holes?

Weren't you paying attention to the video? Less than 1% of it. (20% of the 5% baryonic matter.)
Cant prove there was ANY bang or something like that... people will call believing in genesis from the Bible CRAZY and not real but they'll go re imagine what they wrote thousands of years ago just to keep you from seeing the truth. It cannot be seen with eyes.. it cannot be touched by taste or feel... you all are sad sad creatures

Lol sorry but a magic man did not create the universe. The big bang HAS been measured, and proven.
That pretty cool, universe is still vast and likely far bigger than the observable universe.
Flashing light warning would be nice, next time.
what if the short radio blast thingy was aliens shooting a super weapon at earth??? LOL
if those particles are that hot, how come they don't give of visible light? or are they between us and other objects and thus blocked?

I love science, it gives me an unfair glimpse of how the universe is so big that we will never finish understanding it but proves how great God is....
You could say they discovered all the baryons on a WHIM of the universe.

What I thought u meant by half the universe was missing was that we can’t find all the antimatter that should be as abundant as matter but just isn’t

The intergalactic dryer at work. The universe needed a little drying to be ready. Just like when drying your clothes, it's no more a pair of socks, it's a sock, the other one's missing. Somewhere an alien wonders where it went. I pressume we're about to get a visit. Famous first words: It's a little embarassing, but the word on the Milkyway suggests you've found the other half... We've been looking for millions of years..."

Your title should read 97.5% of the universe was missing until now. Now it's only 95%, as there's still no direct evidence for dark energy or dark matter
Lumalee

There IS evidence and proof of it
How can anyone know half a universe is missing? remember before the Hubble telescope astronomers had no idea how many countless galaxies were out there? They still don't know, the haven't mapped the entire sky with the Hubble deep field, just a tiny portion. They have no idea how many Galaxies are out there, some are so far away they cannot and will not ever be observed. Are they seriously saying they have weighed the observable universe? Any supposed mass missing can be accounted for by saying "it's there but it's too far to see it". Like I know Australia is there but cannot see it from the UK.

@Veritasium When you said at 1:22 "as the univers expanded ....", what did you mean by saying expanded ?? I mean, if that is the univers, then where it can be expand into ? into the other universe(s) or where ... ? or does the universe in your explanation have some specific definition .... as always nice to watch your videos, thanks!

What existed before the Big Bang? I have a hard time believing that all matter now in existence derived from an infinitely small single point! I don't care how densely you think it was "packed" it is impossible! They introduced this theory because they are unable to up with anything else that makes sense! Scientists = Big guessers!

what about the non visible universe? we can see and measure a limited distance in light years , How can any measurement be trusted when we have an incomplete picture of what is out of sight. We cant even say how big the Universe really is . I dont know , I get the feeling that a lot of presumptions are taken place.
It was just rendering in, duh 🙄
