FFS put something the dog can grip to walk on down on that wood floor. My dog pulled a muscle (extremely painful) trying to run on wood floors. Don't let that happen to yours. Wood and tile floors are like walking on ice for dogs. Screw anyone that argues "oh they're fine." Do you not see how they burn rubber when they try to run and just walk on those types of floors? My dog is extremely healthy (that injury fully healed). Wood, tile, and linoleum floors aren't any good for them. They can't get any grip, they just burn rubber, which I learned the hard way can cause injury. Put yourself in that situation. Try walking on ice constantly. You'd want carpeting or at least throw rugs too.
