So the comments show that most of y'all are children or at least think like them. She thought she was down with this but once things started happening and the reality hit she did not want to start another life over. They are 2 people on differing paths. They are both victims and hero of their own story. He failed because he never actually knew whether she wanted this and she fail by never actually facing her true feelings about it.

The way the wife treats him reminds me of my ex. We made promises, I based my decisions around our so called mutual goals and then he let me down in the worst possible way when it was too late. Eg quit my job, given up other relationships/ opportunities etc I despise people like that.

The concept of this movie really sceeves me out, I really don't like it, it's very akin to the Marley and me trope of having the dog just so you can kill it to extract feeling, except instead of sadness it's just Uch I can't even describe the feelings this movie gives me, it's disgusting, the rankest kinda betrayal and meaningless sacrifice for stupid petty reasons, it's gross. Like that scene in prime evil where the dad on the beach is playing with his kids then inexplicably gets left behind buried in the sand and for some convenient reason can't get out so he gets eaten by giant bugs, awful, and only included to make you feel bad.... Man I didn't mean to rant on this but it's visceral, why does this scene exist? How can you come back from this when the entire premise of the movie is you can't take things back? Maybe I just like movies that don't make me feel like crap

This movie advertised it as more of a light hearted movie, but then we got the second half of the movie focusing on this Asian woman that wasn’t even in the trailers, and the slums of the small world, and eventually became really sad

I have mixed feelings about this movie. It started off so well had me very interested but then it started to turn into something else entirely from what it was when it first began and it ended up feeling like 2 different movies in one. Almost to the point where I asked myself “what’s the point of all these people being small in the first place?” Like the second half of this movie did not need the people to be small. That’s how different it felt towards the end compared to the beginning.

I haven't seen this film. Seeing the thumbnail and the comments made me think this was a drama movie about Matt Damon having cancer and Kristen Wiig leaving him because she couldn't bear supporting him. The wacky acting and music really genuinely caught me off guard.

Watched this cause of Matt and Wiig, the latter being in it for a total of 20 mins or so. Movie was kinda good at first, then it turned into an incredibly stupid anthology of some sort.
