i would like to take a second to thank matpat for everything, i have been with you for as long as i can remember, and as i grow older i notice that some things he has talked about are the things that i have learned about in my math and science class, i now understand some of the things that he is talking about, and he has helped me grow as a learner. before, i struggled to pay attention in classes because of my ADHD, but now i realize how interesting science could actually be, and matpat, if you are reading this i want you to know that you have been my role model, and we all love you! thank you for helping me i the times i really needed it. i am also adding that 2 months ago i learned from my friend about rem and i understand everything you are talking about

I have an idea on how to beat Freddy, What if removed our frontal lobe instead because remember if you do that you can't feel anything emotionally. you would act like an A.I and Freddy can be defeated with no fear. and if you remove your frontal lobe you won't be able to feel fear. Even if he comes back he won't be able to do anything if he can't make you afraid of him. there is scientific data stating that people have gotten there frontal lobes removed making there dreams pleasant and removing any bad dreams and nightmares. I would appreciate some feedback from anyone so I know if I am wrong.

I would like to point out something mat pat overlooked. He is a dream demon. Demons can make their own rules in their realms, yes. But when the kids die in Freddy's dead movie, their bodies are gone. It's like they disappear. And in the ANoES remake (2010) it was showed that Freddy could keep the corpses of his victims in the dream realm. And since he can be pulled out to the real world, how does he go back in? like if you somehow try to pull him out, and end up not killing him. He kills you, how does he go back? Does he teleport? he may have that ability, but in the real world, he doesn't. So how exactly can he go back? And certainly, you may be able to beat him by merely lucid dreaming.

The reason Freddy kills in your dreams is because he was burned alive in his basement by a angry mob tired that Freddy was terrorizing their children but before Freddy died completely two dream demons came up to him they would make him Immortal but the catch was that the price would be his soul so unless the demons became so afraid of him that they would submit to him and give his soul back he would have to do their bidding.
