What a miserable woman
"Roving bands of tyrannical plumbers......." JP, you are a legend.....
About 1:33 he stated we are not there yet but close. We are there now
Can’t wait to not buy her book
The Republican Party playing identity politics... Yeah okay lady. Please try to Gaslight me more
He's our dad.
At 1:09:30. Did she just say he was wrong in his prediction and then proceed to explain her position as he just said?
Did they record the audio with a potato?
She actually agrees with him on some points but her pride stops her from continuing that point and changing the subject
She always feels entitled
Of course _her_ microphone is louder than his. Gives her the appearance of the upper hand against arguments that she can't refute. The left's propaganda is so transparent.
What was her point in this?
The primary force in the emancipation of women was men. The pill, dishwasher, etc. are very, VERY distant second places at best. Even though all those things were created by men. So, on behalf of our great-great grandfathers: you're welcome.

@Ed ODT I interpreted your first comment wrongly. I assumed you meant by it that wo**en are incapable of intellectual thought or innovation. I apologise for that. Though we can argue about wether women are in a disadvantage today, I think the past is very clear. I'll give a clear example with Emmy again (though they are many others as well) The reason why you don't know her name, despite the impact of her work, is very simple. Einstein's theorems were always called Einstein's theorems and Newton's theorems were called Newton's theorems. Hers were called "symmetries of the universe" for example. And it is done very deliberately. The names had been changed only very recently to Noethers theorems. In fact, as a female physics student, I still have books on my shelf that teach her theory but hardly mention her name. And even I didn't really know her name until I connected the dots. Another interesting story is that she was not allowed to be professor. So at some point a very noble professor hired her as an assistant and didn't show up to his lectures, to give her a chance to teach. All of this is just to say that, while we can argue about today, there is no point in denying the very strict gender roles of the past. Now I am not saying those roles were the fault of men, I'm only saying they were in fact there and very clearly holding back intellectual women.

@Ed ODT I'm not sure why ALthe just deleted my comment but I guess I'll have to type it out again.

@Focused Studying I know you're going to miss this.....but I'll try anyway. You're making no new arguments here, and don't seem to see how these points you make cause the progressive narrative to fold back on itself. Let's do low-hanging fruit first: "You think women couldn't come up with a tumbling tube or box with water in it, if they ware just allowed to be part of the economy?" The point is, THEY DIDN'T. All you have really done here is defeat the fundamental premise of the "diversity" campaign. You have a built-in assertion that women WOULD HAVE done these things if it were not for the so-called patriarchy, however we STILL got those things DESPITE the oppression of the patriarchy. If your point here is true, then you have just argued successfully that diversity is unnecessary for technological progress. The world is no worse off for it according to you. Now, let's back up to the point you are trying to make on Emmy Noether (who I had to look up). She sounds like an exceptional human being and an important mathematician, among ALL genders. But, I guess what you are actually saying is she is NOT exceptional at all. After all, there would have been MANY Emmy Noether's if it weren't for the oppressive patriarchy, right? So Einstein was wrong; she was one of many brilliant female mathematicians, and we simply don't know about all the others because they didn't claw the eyes out of enough men, making it possible for them to have a cool wikipedia article. That's the story? I mean, Spud Webb wasn't REALLY great. He's just the one short guy who managed to liberate himself from the "tyranny of tallness" in the NBA. There are guys 67 inches tall jumping over backboards all over the world, they just aren't being allowed to play, right? I admit that I am not intimately familiar with the history of the dishwasher market. However you seem to have missed the point. The point being made in the interview is that technology was a contributing factor the the "emancipation" of women. My point was that technology was far less a factor than the efforts of men made on behalf of women...but it is at least worth mentioning, all of that technology was made available to women BY MEN. They weren't "oppressing" very well when they did this. In fact, if you have any knowledge of the history of tyranny, it would seem that the "oppressive patriarchy" narrative of the Marxist progressives is pretty tame. It was MEN who voted for women's suffrage (there were no women in Congress at that time), and it was MEN who made abortion legal (there were no women on the Supreme Court at the time). The "oppressive patriarchy" myth wants us all to believe that somehow the oppression was lifted because people in "oppressed" categories fought their way to freedom. The reality is, the decisive factor in every single case is MEN who took action that brought about justice. If you think protesting or literature or simply "making demands" brings about change, you are sadly mistaken. Tyrants would rather throw you to lions than listen to your grievances. But, in America, people (specifically MEN) DID listen to grievances; nothing I'm saying here is in any way intended to denigrate or marginalize the efforts of anyone to gain justice for themselves or others. What I'm saying is that the progressive narrative, the myth of the "oppressive patriarchy" is nothing less than a bald-faced lie. It's a fantasy concocted by people who are obsessed with a sinister political ideology. Ultimately, that political ideology is really a religion, complete with a specific anthropology, system of ethics, and even historical theology (which is what we're really talking about here). Every bit of it is LIES. The "struggle" is NOT between people of different social categories (men vs women, black vs white, etc), but rather, GOOD vs EVIL. All genders and races are represented in BOTH the GOOD and EVIL categories. And this should be clear if we acknowledge things as they really happened: men AND women worked together for the good, over against those who advocated for injustice. And men weren't there holding their wife's purse while she did all the work. None of those changes would have happened WITHOUT MEN. This is an all-together different characterization of things compared to the progressive ideology. Maybe a simple analogy will be more sufficient. Let's say I find you locked in a cage, and you tell me you want to be free. So, I go and actually MAKE the key needed to get you out....I make the key and I come back, and let you out of the cage. Then, YOU turn around and TELL ME that, not only did you FREE YOURSELF from the cage, but I ACTUALLY PUT YOU IN THE CAGE to begin with. Can you imagine how confusing that might be for me? Maybe I tell you, "hey, it wasn't me that put you in there. I worked hard to get you out" Are you going to turn around and tell me, "you LOOK like the person who put me in the cage, so you MUST be part of the whole plan to put me in the cage. P.S., I'm taking credit for the creation of this key, too." At that point, I would have to say that you are probably a half-wit. Because only a fool determines the motivations of another person based on IMMUTABLE CHARACTERISTICS. It takes an even bigger fool to forget the events that brought about your liberation...and YET even a greater fool to forget them that quickly.

With women like Emmy Noether, who layed down the whole foundation for both classical mechanics and theoretical physics, and who was praised many times by the likes of Einstein. You think women couldn't come up with a tumbling tube or box with water in it, if they were just allowed to be part of the economy? Also fun fact, those things only started selling when women joined the workforce and were able to make their own purchases, instead of having to ask their husbands for everything.
I'm at 20 minutes in and the cringe I feel of this woman is almost unbearable.

As if Jodan Peterson is not just a little to the centre conservative like any other little to the centre conservative? I actually think that was an ad hominem attack more than anything else.
JP's boots have a higher IQ than this, person.
Is this an interview or debate? LOL no one cares about your feelings Helen, we're here for Jordan not you...
She cheated on her husband. Got a divorce and then made a lot of money from her husband. The Patriarchy. He had to pay her for cheating on him
He's burned me yet again. Quick. Change the subject.
Ironically, it is funny how many “civilized” people think only comedians have the right to make jokes.

GQ indeed!!! They need to vanish finally. How deluded they are in their estimation of a great man.
I really wonder what her idea of " being a man around the place" means lol
I can't wait to not buy her book
They're cuddling. Look at their legs!! 0_0
PREFERENTIAL HIGHERING..BOOM
You know it is truly amazing that Dr Jordan Peterson. Gets offered a position at Cambridge only for people filled with RESENTMENT to block it. Oh and they employ Her I feel so so sorry for the young students and the TRUE knowledge that they will lose, a truly reprehensible decision.

You can see after about 20 mins she realizes what she got herself into and her stance changes from one of hatred to one of lust that she doesn't understand because of her anger towards men
Feminism is a hate movement of sexist misandrist supremacist playing false victims of women's rights oppression to scam society for more privileges power control without effort or responsibility. Feminist are gender bigots who abuse everyone who disagree with their disingenuous warped ideology. Women's rights groups officially separated from feminism 50 plus years ago because they were scamming to get away with their criminality. The most privileged, protected , have the most opportunities in society are women.
The first part of the interview, this woman has no idea who she's dealing with. Around 17:20 she begins to realize she is akin to a 4 year old arguing with her intelligent father.
Hilarious how they're probably interpreting the like to dislike ratio as people genuinely liking the interview and not the reality that people just love watching dumb feminists getting roasted
easiest game of "spot the fake intellectual" EVER
Jordan is so much smarter than her
"I can't wait not to buy her book". We salute you, genius who wrote that

kind of a commentary on the sad state of 'journalism' today ... the interviewer had zero clue what he was talking about. We really don't need any more social justice warriors posing as journalists.
I agree that Peterson was doing better than Lewis in this instance, both in terms of logos and confident speaking, but this sort of thing can depend on all kinds of different things. Like, a year after this he got BTFO'd so bad by Slavoj Zizek that he went to Europe and surrendered to painkillers (not literally what happened, obviously, but boy did JP look tiny in that debate).

not really tiny.. it was just awkward
The host is just quality intimate relationship away from changing her political views.
Females don’t like how they are treated, maybe if they quit bashing men they would be treated even better than they already been treated
1:06:25 - that is not good enough Dr Peterson. This is a fundamental and highly significant component of the history of the relationship between the sexes that you purport to speak with such expertise on but you haven't and won't engage or think about this irrefutable piece of evidence?
Amazing. I respect the capacity of Jordan to be articulate and express his ideas. But to bring western tyrannical patriarchy as western patriarchy victims was absurd. Tyrannical society will never want to hear about their mistakes. This guy will defend his misogyny and kept bullying the interviewer when he was triggered with the term “tyrannical patriarchy” . How mistaken this guy is, was demonstrated during the pandemic when women were victimized at home by their male partners.
It is mot abou property transfer any more. It is about unity with the husband and or the children. Also done for tradition. it is a choice.
They don't call him Big Daddy for nothing
Is because of food additives, specially emulsifiers and stabilisers.
Bunch of nonsense.
This should have been an MTV roast. Next time we'll bring snoop dogg to host it.
Want some truth , hard to find. Free education for all (?)all about getting all isolated ( from parents ) then brainwashing for all !
Helen is rather imbecile many times during the interview. Jorden is very very patient and forgiving.
She is foolish in her thought process, this is why you see the chaos today. To destroy the patriarchy that's not really a thing anymore. There always has to be an enemy huh
sometimes good clear well thought out communication beats fast talking emotional reactions to this reality. thank you dr. peterson.
I wonder if she cheated on her husband because she found a male higher up on the social ladder
I'm a audio engineer, so I"m a bit sensitive to things like this. There is a reason why things like this are done. Why is Mr. Peters not mic'ed properly?
This woman is a smug fool.
“ In our country the lie has become not just a moral category but a pillar of the State.” Alexander Solzhenitsyn
She studied journalism at Oxford and had no idea what the alt-right even is while bringing them up herself in an interview. What are they teaching in journalism courses these days?
Jordan ... what about me? I can't get the $200 an hour thingy magig?!
This woman is in ✨fantasy land✨
I can't wait for both sides to realize they are on the same side after all.
a legendary interview
Order is masculine because men are logical, and to be logical is to have order and rules. Women are feminine and more submissive and agreeable, they are more emotional and their emotions sometimes erase any structure or rules. It is up to the man to be strong and lead women children with his logic.
She put him in a bad mood as soon as she said about the alt right having interest in him. The poor guy is just trying to help people and he is doing a great job, I cant think of one thing he has said that relates remotely to the alt right. Pathetic journalist just pathetic.
great job jordan i love you
i dont think Mr Peterson had to use much hand movements when speaking to make points. the interviewer used constant movements has i believed was feeling anxiety about arguments knowing i should not have done this debate.. DOE!!
Peterson did not do good here
Jordan Peterson's a confident lobster forsure.
I feel like watching this being a women is illegal
I not a grifter but could you mention my book title atleast 35 times that be great, did I mention iam not a grifter?
I came back here in 2021 to obtain an intelligent example of a verbal asskicking.
... _ _ _ ... (SOS TRUMP ) People from USA, you can express your vote again, it is simple and powerful: beep your horn like an S.O.S. so everyone can hear you very well during the Biden Inauguration Day.
Well, isn't she divorced now? Perhaps she doesn't respect men.
well that was cut to remove a good point about make up , what a brilliant man
She got completely owned i bet she regretted doing this interview.
Insane! You can buy Peterson's book 12 rules for life even in Germany for 10euros with free transport to your house already... I have never seen such a good book so insane cheap! He really does not write his book to make profit..
Condescending comes to mind! What went wrong in her life?
The studio floor was a mirror finish after the thorough wiping with her face
This whole conversation is BS..! Men and women are created to love, complement and support each other, but it will be destructive to fight and cast dispersions on each other as that will wreck the whole society. Every person, whether men or women, should strive to be open, honest, brave and noble and do their best for the benefit of their self, family and society rather than aiming to be selfish and control freaks...!, which will take away the respect element in a relationship, whether that's in family or elsewhere.
This woman comes across as a fool who only wants to start trouble
She is awesome. Tries to nail him down, but he prefers to only talk about cherry-picked examples and circular arguments (social constructionists believe in social construction) that support his pre-determined conclusions; otherwise, he reverts to vagaries that, upon inspection, are essentially meaningless. A very silly man.
Hahaha 😂 jordan peterson your a boss.
She is not even smart enough to read what he wrote, no wonder she lives alone, no surprise what so ever. I would have had no problem raising the two handed 6 foot sword to lighten the burden of England that was needed to guide it into modern times. Yes, during the crusades', I would have been extremely remorseful for what was done in the Holy Land to the innocents who lived there. They were not alive when Christ was crucified and had no part in the dammed action against GOD. I would have been repentant for the rest of my life for those I had condemned.
I can't stand this evil guy .
Also the world is not overpopulated. it's just overpopulated by ignorant people who refuse to get educated on what could be a better way of producing and manufacturing goods. I don't believe in killing, but I believe that the lowest 20% of the Global Society should not be able to breed as we know that people of lower quality education typically breed more. Watch the Movie Idiocracy. It's a "comedy" that is all to true based on how i see humanity going.
At the end of the interview in the interest of fair play Jordan Peterson asked her when the last time she cried was and she replied that she did not know, but she was pretty sure she would be crying all the way home.
Smirking Land Whale thought she could own Mr.Peterson. XD
This isn't a debate.
Sheer genius! And with attitude.
This is like watching a drag race between a bicycle and a Bugatti. She simply can't keep up. He was right about her attitude being detrimental to her relationship now that she's divorced.
I like how in the moments they stop debating its bassically a therapy sessions for interviewer
She constantly shakes her finger towards this man and as a woman I read this as hostility and an attempt to be controlling and it’s silly and immature of her.
STOP AUTOPLAYING THIS TO ME GOOGLE. ARE YOU INTENTIONALLY TRYING TO MAKE YOUR WEBSITE WORSE!?
I’m gonna stay to watch her .. get school
This lady will hear this 10 yrs from now and he will say dam completely lost a chance to have a great interview instead I acted like a moran !! She so sad she takes too much attention she important the person been interviewed .. she defines stupidity!!
I love when she moves into lobsters and gets schooled about heirarchies. Watch how uncomfortable she gets throughout as her brain gets aligned properly. L-l-let’s move on from lobsters. 47:27 You can’t run away from this one lady. one last word for her to process over...
"And that's not good".
If an interviewer is going to be prepared to take on someone with the intellect Dr. J Peterson has in asking the kind of questions they ask - they should be suitably prepared (as difficult this may be) in doing their homework thoroughly or at best be intellectually equipped and capable to handle and counter-respond. This interviewer was outclassed.
